An unidentified dead body (55) of a man was recovered by the police from an estuary of a canal of village Durgapur under Rampal Upazila in Bagerhat district on Saturday morning, according to a delayed report received here. After preparing a circumstances report police sent the dead body to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
Mohammad Shamsuddin, Officer-in-charge of Rampal PS told, being informed of the dead body from the locals police went to the spot and recovered the body from the estuary on Saturday morning (at about 8 am). But the dead body could not be identified.
