Police of Mongla PS recovered a dead body from a shrimp farm of Madya Haldibunia village within Chila Union under Mongla Upazila in Bagerhat district on Tuesday morning.
The victim was identified as one Abdul Karim Fakir (55) hailed from the village Satgharia within Mithakhali Union Parishad under the same Upazila.
Md. Ahad Ahmed, SI of Mongla PS said, being informed of the matter from Gazi Akbor Hossain, UP Chairman of Chila police rushed to the spot and recovered the dead from the shrimp farm. It is stated by the UP Chairman that at the night deceased went to the fish farm by a boat to catch fish from the fish farm as usual. But at that time he was suddenly attacked with epilepsy and fell into the fish farm and died. In this connection a UD (unnatural death) case was lodged with the PS.
