Dead body of a young man was recovered by the police from Bhatta-Khamar area under Fakirhat Upozila in Bagerhat district on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Robiul Islam (25), an easy bike driver and son of one Md. Moslem Uddin hailed from Moktar Hossain Road under Labanchara PS in Khulna City Corporation. It is guessed by the police that miscreants killed him and left the dead body at Bhatta-Khamar area.
Police and locals said that on Saturday morning Rabiul left his residence along with his easy bike and when he reached Rupsa bridge area alleged hijackers boarded his easy bike in the guise of passengers to reach their destination. After reaching there the hijackers killed driver Rabiul, left the dead and fled away by the easy bike. But at night when Rabiul did not return home his relatives searched different places and at last the dead body was recovered.
