Police recovered the body of an adolescent boy from Kangso River at Baushi bazer area under Barhatta upazila yesterday.
Police sources here said, the dead was identified as Abdul Halim, 14, son of Habibur Rahman of the village Muadi under Barhatta upazila. He was working in a tea stall at the Baushi bazer.
The victim was reportedly remained missing since Friday last. On receiving information, a police team from Barhatta police station rushed to the Baushi bazar area and recovered the body from the river Kangso behind the bazer area and sent it to Netrakona sader hospital morgue for post mortem.
Officer-in-charge of Netrakona sader police station Burhanuddin Khan said, the actual cause of his death could not be ascertained immediately. Meanwhile , police started investigation to find out the clue of the incident.
