Police have recovered the handcuffed body of a policeman’s wife from a flat in the Reserve Tank area of Manikganj city. Police recovered the body around 11am on Saturday (September 11) and sent it to the Manikganj District Hospital morgue.
The deceased was identified as Bilkis Akhter. She is the daughter of Majed Ali of Sreebari village in Baratia union of Ghiorupazila of Manikganj. BilkisAkter lived in a rented flat with two children.
Kitab Uddin, the owner of the house, said policeman MasudRana rented the flat in August. He is working in Gazipur Police Lines. MasudRana came on holiday. At around 8 am today, MasudRana’s children heard the cries and some people including neighbors entered the house and saw Bilkis’ body.
MasudRana is the son of Habibur Rahman of Paruria village in Baghutia union of Daulatpurupazila of Manikganj.
