Police recovered the body of a police officer’s wife named Nilufa Akhtar Hasi (36) from a house in Tilpapara, Khilgaon of the capital.
The woman’s husband, Sub-Inspector Bajlur Rashid, is working in the mechanical branch of the Special Branch (SB) of police.
The incident took place on the ground floor of House No. 185/3, Road No. 11 at Tilpapara on Saturday morning.
The body had been sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Victim Nilufa was the daughter of one Md. Hatim Ali from Sujanagar Upazila in Pabna. She used to live with her husband along with a son and 2 daughters in Khilgaon.

told the media saying that the deceased family members claimed that the woman had been suffering from various diseases for a long time. And it is now assumed she committed suicide by hanging herself in the morning.
The deceased’s brother Abdul Bari Biplob said, “My sister was mentally sick. That is why she committed suicide.
