After two days of missing , dead body of Kalyan Pal (10), son of one Kamal Krisna Pal of village Kartikdia-Palpara and a student of Class-IV of local Sajjad Kadir Ideal School within Baraipara Union Parishad under Sadar Upazila in Bagerhat district, was recovered on Sunday afternoon from a fish farm of the village by the police.
Subrata Kumar Pal, paternal grand -father of the deceased said , on Friday afternoon ill-fated Kalyan left his house on Friday afternoon to go to local Jatrrapur Bazar in order to attend Janmastamik ceremony there. But he did not return home till the night. Then the relatives searched hither and thither to recover him. But no trace of him was found. Then the grand father lodged a DG with the local PS.
On Sunday (Aug 25) afternoon, a woman of the village went to a fish farm, one kilometer off the house of Kalyan Pal to cut grass for cattle heads, found the dead body there and cried out loudly.
