A student named Abdullah Al Maruf of Kapasia went missing while bathing at Cox’s Bazar beach on a pleasure trip with his friends. The college student is the son of Rezaul Karim Moral of Fulbaria village of Durgapur union of Kapasia upazila of Gazipur. He is a 12th standard student of Gazipur Metropolitan College.
It is known that on Monday last, three friends went missing at Sugandha Point of Cox’s Bazar beach. Later, the beach workers managed to rescue two people named Shaon and Masum, but Maruf disappeared in the waves. Three days after beach workers continued their search for the missing Maruf, his body was recovered from the beach about five km from Labani Beach Point on Wednesday afternoon.
