Body of missing fisherman recovered after two days from Sandhya River

Dead body of a fisherman suspected as one of the two victims of a capsized engined fishing boat recovered after two-days from Sandhya River under Babuganj upazila of Barishal on Wednesday by divers of Fire Service and Civil Defense forces.
Abdus Salam, officer in charge of Babuganj police station, said the recovered dead body was identified as Abul Bashar, son of Habibur Rahman, from Sakokati under Gournadi upazila of the district.
Police sources said on Monday early morning a fishing trawler was capsized on Monday early morning while two passenger launches named as Juboraj-7 and Avijan-7 were crossing Sandhya River near Mollarhut area of Kedarpur union under Babuganj upazila.
At that time the fishing boat was hit by one of the launches and capsized soon missing with two fishermen on board, witnesses told.
Local Fire Service and Civil Defense departmnt was informed about the incident and they started searching on the River.
On Tuesday evening an amputated leg of a man and some portions of the capsized trawler recovered as floating on the river.
The on Wednesday morning dead body of missing one of the two fishermen bearing that recovered amputated leg , was recovered and drive for recovering missing another one going on , the poice sources said.
The recovered dead bidy sent to morge for autopsy and no case was lodged till this report, police sources added.
