Dead body of a businessman missing since last five-day recovered from Sandhya River on Thursday afternoon.
The victim was identified as Dilip Nandi, 50, a betel-leaf wholesaler at Kalir Bazaar and son of Mangol Nandi of Kamalapur area of Ujirpur upazila town.
Anwar Hossain, Ujirpur police station in charge, said local people informed police seeing the dead body floating on Sandhya River at Kalir Bazaar area and police recovered that at about 5:30 pm Thursday evening. Dilip was missing on way to Kali Bazaar from home since February 1 and his wife Archana Nandi filed a missing diary with Ujirpur police station on February 2 morning after he was not returned home at night.
