Hanging body of a deed writer has been recovered from a village of Dumuria in Khulna.
Police recovered the body of Nirapod Debnath, 60, hanging from a tree behind his house at village Sonali of Dumuria in Khulna on Tuesday morning.
Swapna Debnath, wife of the deceased, said that on Monday her husband visited various puja mandaps of the area. After having dinner at night he went to another puja mandap at Sonali Government Primary School ground. On Tuesday morning, his body was found hanging on the branch of the tree behind his house.
Aminul Islam Biplob of Dumuria police station, said that it is not possible to say anything about the incident at this moment before investigation.
The body has been sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Noresh Debnath, brother of the deceased, filed an unnatural death case with Dumuria police station in this connection.
