Police recovered the body of an unidentified woman from Katirhat village under Hathazari upazila of the district on Friday morning.
On information from the locals, Hathazari police recovered the body of the woman aged around 30 from Shah Jahan Shah Majar area on Chittagong-Khagrachhari road around 6am, said Nurul Amin, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Hathazari police station.
Quoting locals, police said that the woman was mentally challenged and she might have been killed in a road accident on Thursday night.
