Police recovered the body of a young man from the rooftop of a bus at Kalibari bus stand in Manirampur upazila of the district on Saturday.
Quoting witnesses, police said the driver and the helper of the Satkhira-bound bus of ‘Mashallah Paribahan’ found the body on the roof of the bus when it reached Kalibari bus stand around 7:35 am and fled away leaving the vehcile.
On information, a police team of Monirampur police station recovered the body and sent it to Manirumpur Upazila Health Complex for autopsy, said sub-inspector Sakhawat Hossian of the police station. Locals said the man might have been killed being hit by tree branch.
