A body stuffed in a wooden almirah was recovered in the city’s Tikatuli area on Monday morning. The almirah was found abandoned around 400 yards far from the Rapid action Battalion-3 (RAB) office and a stone’s throw away from the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Wari Zone). Wari Police Station’s Sub-Inspector (SI) Sadikur Rahman said that the decomposed body was recovered from the almirah kept in the street in Tikatuli area around 10:00 am Monday.Locals called the police after seeing the body in the abandoned almirah. Police recovered the body and sent it to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy, the police official said.
