The body of an unidentified youth was recovered from the Meghana river at Korbanpur in Sonargaon upazila here on Saturday night.
Sonargaon thana officer-in-charge Md Rezaul Haq said being informed by locals, police recovered the
body which was partially decomposed and sent it to 100-bed general hospital morgue for autopsy.
Miscreants might have killed the youth 10-15 days ago and then dumped the body in the river, said the OC.
A case was filed.
