A body was recovered from a residential hotel in the city’s Moghbazar area on Sunday evening.
The deceased was identified as Asaduzzaman, 43, hailing from Chuadanga, police said.
Ramna Police Station’s Duty Officer Sub-Inspector (SI) Ashraful Islam confirmed the matter and said that police recovered the body of Asaduzzaman from the Room No. 210 of Green Tower Residential Hotel at Moghbazar area following information at around 7:00pm.
The body was sent to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy, he said.
An unnatural death (UD) case was filed with the police station in this connection, the SI said.
