Police recovered the body of an unknown 27-year-old man from a canal at Maniknagar of city’s Mugda on Tuesday morning.
Details of the deceased couldn’t be known immediately.
Sushil Chandra Barman, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Mugda Police Station told media that he might have
been killed couple of days ago. Efforts are on to identify the deceased, he said.
The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for an autopsy. Reasons behind the death could be known after the autopsy report is received, added the SI.
