Police recovered Amin Mia’s body from Malek Mia’s pond in Kalikchch Daulatpara area of Sarail Upazila of Brahmanbaria district.
The deceased Amin Mia (37) is the son of Habib Ullah of Chaksha village of Kalikachch Upazila.
Sunday August 28 at 8 am from Malek Meer Pond in Daulat Para area of Chaksar.
Amin Mia’s body has been recovered by the police.
According to police and family sources, in the morning, small children saw the body floating in the pond and informed the owner of the pond and when the owner of the pond informed the local chairman, the chairman informed the police.
Gafargaon (Mymensingh) Correspondent adds: Gafargaon GRP outpost police recovered the body of an unidentified person (55) from the area adjacent to the highway rail crossing of Dhamail village of Gafargaon.
The body was recovered on the Dhaka-Mymensingh railway on Sunday morning.
Gafargaon GRP outpost in-charge Rafiqul Islam said that the locals informed the GRP police after seeing the body lying on the side of the railway. The deceased was wearing a lungi and genji. After receiving the news the body was recovered from the spot and sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for post-mortem. However, the name of the deceased was not found. An attempt is being made to identify the name. Further legal action will be taken based on the post-mortem report.
