Police recovered at least two bodies of Brick field worker from a river near Tukchanpur area of Bhairab upazila of Kishoreganj on Monday noon.
The victims were identified as Gobind Chandra (35) son of Shrat Chandra of Chnedesh village in Patnitala upazila of Naogan district and Arun Benergee (30) son of Amal Benerjee of town Sreepur village in Debhata upazila of Satkhina.
Locals said that some 11/12 people, who work in different Brick Kilns of Lundia Charpara area were returning to workstation by a boat from Lundia market on Saturday evening while their boat capsized in the middle of the river due to gusty winds.
Everyone managed to swim ashore but the duo was missing since.
Additional Police Super Rakib Khan told The New Nation on information, police recovered the bodies after they were spotted floating in river near Tukchandpur village under Bhairab upazila.
