Police recovered the bodies of two minor girls from Namosankerbati-Bhabanipur village in Chapainawabganj municipality on Tuesday night.
The deceased are Sumaya Khatun Meghla, 7, daughter of Milon Rana and Mehjabin Aktar Maliha, 6, daughter of Abdul Malek, residents of the same area.
Police said the victims were the students of nursery and class one of Chotomoni Bidya Niketon of the area and after coming from school at noon they went out for playing but did not return.
The locals searched the house of one Yasin Ali, 74, a rickshaw-van puller of the area and found the dead bodies in two separate bags in his bed room.
Being informed, police recovered the bodies and sent to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
