All on a sudden without any notice internationally renowned film actress Bobita went to Canada for one month to meet her only son Anik. She left Dhaka on Wednesday early in the morning’s flight.
Before leaving Dhaka Bobita told this correspondent, “For the last few days, I was eager to see my son Anik. Recently I went to Singapore for taking treatment. After returning from Singapore I couldn’t control myself to see the face of son. For this reason, I am going to Canada. Everybody pray for me as I can return to my motherland safely.”
Before leaving country Bobita didn’t confirm to work in any new movie. Her last acted movie was Nargis Akhter’s Putro Ekhon Paisawala, which was released few days ago.
If she couldn’t get good story and role she has no interest to act in movie, Bobita said.
Viewers’ choice film actress Bobita got the National Film Award for seven times till now. Since 1975 to 1977 she got this award for three times at a time. She got the awards for Mohsin’s movie Badi Thekey Golam, Amzad Hossain’s movie Noyonmoni, and Subhash Dutta’s movie Bashundhara in 1975, 1976 and 1977 respectively.
