Legendary film actress Bobita is going to receive Lifetime Achievement Award in National Film Award 2016. She will receive the award from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Bobita mentioned that she has to struggle for many years to come into this position in film industry. First of all she recalled the name of Zahir Raihan. Later Khan Ataur Rahman, Subhash Dutta, Narayan Ghosh Mita, Kazi Zahir, Sheikh Niamat Ali, Abdullah Al Mamun, Amzad Hossain, Chashi Nazrul Islam, among others.
“I also mention the name of Satyajit Ray. After death of my mother my elder sister Suchonda and younger sister Champa were beside me. Now my only son Anik is my heart. I am also grateful to countrymen to support me a lot,” Bobita said.
It is mentioned that till now Bobita got National Film Award for seven times.
