July 31 was the birthday of internationally renowned Bangladeshi film actress Bobita. After four years, Bobita celebrated her birthday in Bangladesh. She last celebrated the day in Bangladesh in 2012. Last few years she celebrated the day with her only son Anik in Canada. She had no specific plan to celebrate the day. However, she passed the day in a memorable way.
From the first hour of her birthday, Bobita started to get wishes from her fans, relatives, friends, well-wishers. She also talked with her son by Skype. Some children of US based welfare agency, Distress Children and Infant International (DCII) came to her to wish Bobita. They also performed to make it a colourful afternoon. Later while talking with them Bobita became emotional. She started crying. She said, “You are my inspiration for the survival, you are my life. When you need for anything, you can come to me anytime. I want to work for you rest of my life.”
The programme was coordinated by Bobita’s younger sister, once popular film actress Champa. Journalist Ovi Moinuddin cooperated her.
