The election of the executive committee of Boalmari Press Club (2015-16) was held on 14 October at Press Club recently.
Md. Amirul Islam Chowdhury (Daily Bhorer Pata) has been elected President and Md. Anwar Hossin (Daily Dinkal) as General Secretary.
A total of 11- member committee was formed.
Other elected officials of the committee are: Vice President Kazi Hasan Firoz (Weekly Chandana), Assistant Genearl Secretary Nirmal Kumar Biswas Nayan (Weekly Somoyer Bhabna), Finance Secretary AKM Rezaul Karim (Daily Bhorer Dak), Office Secretary Md. Zakir Hossin (Faridpur Kontho), Publication and Publicity Secretary Arshad Sagor (Daily Manabzamin, dhakatimes24.com), Executive Members are respectively Md. Selim Reza Lipon (Daily Jugantor), Poet Nazmul Haq Nazir (Nazir Bangla), Rasel Ahmed (The New Nation) and Md. Monirul Islam tito (Ekattor Television).
