Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) condoled the death of Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Annisul Huq, elder brother of BOA president and Chief of Army Staff of Bangladesh Army General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq.
Mayor Annisul Huq lost the battle for life in a London hospital last night, after nearly three-month treatment there said a BOA press release.
He breathed his last on Thursday at 10.23 pm Bangladesh time at Wellington Hospital due to neurological problem.
He was 65.
In a condolence message, BOA president, its secretary general Syed Shahed Reza and all BOA members prayed for eternal peace of his departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
