Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) expressed deep shock at the demise of Amena Khan , mother of former Planning Secretary and BOA national course director Akhter Hossain Khan, said a BOA press release on Tuesday.
She was 84.
Amena Khan breathed her last at a hospital in Faridpur this morning due to old age complications.
In a condolence message, the BOA president and Army Chief General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq, Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza and all BOA members prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
