Bangladesh Navy Ship (BNS) Dhaleshwari yesterday left naval base of Chittagong for Singapore to take part in a three-day International Maritime Defence Exhibition (IMDE-2015).
The exhibition will begin on May 19 and will continue till May 21. The frigate, led by its Commander Captain M Moinul Hasan, with 27 officials and 105 crews, left the naval base’s jetty last noon, a Bangladesh Navy press release said.
Chittagong Naval Region’s Commander Rear Admiral M Akhter Habib and other high officials of the navy were present at the ship’s departure programme.
