All the business outlets will remain closed and vehicular movements suspended around Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) area on November 16 and 17 to ensure foolproof security to Australia football team.
The decision was taken in a meeting held at the conference room of the Ministry of Youth and Sports on Thursday, chaired by joint secretary of the ministry Mir Khurshid Anwar.
Higher officials from Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Information, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Bangladesh Football Federation were present at the meeting.
Australia football team is expected to arrive in Dhaka on November 14 to play their away match of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Bangladesh on November 17.
