BNP’s support sought to bring back Tarique for trial

Joint general secretary of the ruling Awami League Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, MP, on Friday sought support of BNP to bring back home its senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman through Interpol for trial.
“BNP leadership should keep in mind that if any criminal is arrested through Interpol for trial at home then, there are many cases pending against Tarique Rahman. They should extend support to arrest Tarique through Interpol for trial,” he said in response to BNP’s demand to bring back home estranged Awami League leader and former minister Abdul Latif Siddiqui through Interpol for trial.
Hanif said this while talking to reporters after exchanging views with Kushtia District Awami League leaders and workers at his PTI Road residence in Kushtia.
