BNP’s long march fruitless for country, says Suranjit

Awami League (AL) advisory council member Suranjit Sengupta on Saturday said, BNP’s recent long march towards Teesta Barrage was fruitless for the country. “BNP was unable to bring any good for the country. Their mission was not successful. They failed to involve the general people with the program and revive their party,” Suranjit said. The former minister came up with the observation while addressing a discussion held by Bangabandhu Academy at Institution of Diploma Engineers auditorium here.
Presided over by academy’s advisor Chitya Ranjan Das, the programme was addressed by joint general secretary of Dhaka city AL, Haji Mohammad Selim, MP, Asaduzzaman Durjoy, Harun Chowdhury, among others.
