After throwing brickbats from the human chain of Nagar BNP, the leaders and activists were dispersed in the counter chase of the police. Four policemen were injured in the incident.The human chain program is in vain.
The incident took place in front of Chittagong Press Club on Wednesday at around 3:15 pm.It is learned that on the occasion of ‘Democracy Killing Day’, the leaders and activists of BNP organized a human chain. Leaders and workers were to give speeches along with human chain. The program started at 3 pm. But after only 20 minutes, the BNP workers started throwing brickbats to the police. Then the police went into action. leaves several injured in the brickbating and lathiharge, a eyewitness sources said.
