BNP will arrange doa mahfil across the country on August 15 to mark the ’74th birthday’ of its chairperson Khaleda Zia, now in jail in a graft case.
Party Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programme at a miald mahfil at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office. Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal arranged the programmemarking Khaleda’s late son Arafat Rahman Koko’s birth anniversary. A munajat was offered seeking eternal peace of Koko’s departed soul at the programme.
On the occasion of their chairperson’s birthday, Rizvi said BNP will arrange doa mahfil in all upazilas and districts across the country on August 15 to pray for her recovery from illness and release from jail.
