KCC polls: BNP’s allegation , AL ‘s reply

Police arrested five BNP activists and raided at least 200 houses on Wednesday night.
 They also ransacked the houses, abused house mates and threatened them to death at the time of raid.
BNP mayoral Candidate alleged this at a press briefing at his house yesterday morning. Referring police commissioner he said that commissioner astonished to here such information saying he did not issue such order to arrest to police working in the field. Then under which administration police working in the field, Manju asked the police administration. He further alleged BNP supporters are being harassed by ruling party cadres while campaigning in many places of the city.
Meanwhile, Awami League Mayoral Candidate Talukder Abdul Khaleque said BNP candidate trying to mislead voters while police arresting the criminals in connection with cases. He and his party had no connection in this arrest. He was speaking a press briefing at party office today.
Khaleque said that the workers are campaigning morning to night as Awami League has no ill motive in this election.
Both the candidate continued election campaigning at different parts of the city to day.
