BNP worried over Khaleda’s health

The BNP on Friday expressed its anxiety about the party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s health condition in jail.
The party said, they are worried at the ruling Awami League General Secretary and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader’s statement regarding Khaleda Zia’s health.
 “We are seriously anxious at the AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader’s latest statement
on the former Prime Minister’s health condition. He said, ‘life span and death of a human being are in the hands of Allah and no one has anything to do’. BNP Senior Joint-Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said it in a press briefing in the party’s Nayapaltan central office.  
He said, the party chief is presently at extreme health risk as she has been lodged in an abandoned building of ex. central jail. Rizvi said, “Quader’s statement proved they (government) are hatching a deep conspiracy against the former Prime Minister.
He stressed on immediate arrangement for Khaleda’s treatment at United Hospital under the supervision of her personal physicians.
Rizvi warned the government of severe consequence in case of any unwanted incident taking place. The people of the country would not forgive any one liable for that.
The BNP leader also condemned the Dhaka University authority for ousting few female students from Sufia Kamal Hall at mid-night.
BNP Vice-Chairman Nitai Roy Chowdhury, Joint-Secretary General Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, central leaders Habibul Islam and Advocate Masud Ahmed Talukdar, among others, were present.
