The BNP will hold a grand rally centering its 40th founding anniversary on September 1.

The party will also arrange doa mahfil for their jailed chairperson Khaleda Zia on Wednesday.
“We will hold a rally to mark our party’s 40th founding anniversary on September 1. We will hold
the rally at Suhrawardy Udyan or at Nayapaltan,” said, BNP’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi in a press briefing at the party’s central office in the capital.
The BNP leader also demanded release of the party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia before Eid-ul-Azha.
He demanded also release of 22 students before the Eid. They were arrested in connection with link to recent road safety movement.
BNP Chairperson’s adviser Abdus Salam, Assistant Organizing Secretary Advocate Abdus Salam Azad, Assistant Office Secretary Taiful Islam Tipu and Munir Hossain were present, among others.
