UNB, Dhaka :BNP has demanded army deployment at least a week ahead of the city corporations polls in Dhaka and Chittagong, billed for April 28, to ensure free and fair polls saying it still has confidence on army in terms of neutrality.”Army should be deployed at least seven days prior to elections becauseconfidence is still there on army regarding neutrality,” said BNP standing committee member ASM Hannan Shah said this while talking part in 111th edition of the BBC Songlap held in the city on Saturday.Shipping Minister M Shajahan Khan, Bangladesh Supreme Court lawyer Sara Hossain and Dhaka University Prof Dr Zinat Huda Wahid also took part in the discussion as panelists.
