General Secretary of Awami League Obaidul Quader on Sunday accused the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) of trying to create anarchic situation in the country as done in 2014.
Obaidul Quader said this during his visit to the Gabtali bus terminal in the city to greet the Eid passengers.
“BNP does not want peaceful election. That is why it is trying to create anarchic situation to hinder
the upcoming general election schedules in December,” he said.
The next general election will be held as per the Constitution and Election Commission would conduct it, he said.
A mini-cabinet would be formed to perform routine work only during the election, Quader said.
‘BNP is hatching conspiracies and lobbying at home and abroad to foil the next general election. But people will resist all of their attempts’, Quader said.
This year the passengers would not face any big trouble to return their to homes with family members, Quader said.
