The BNP will hold rally in Dhaka city today demanding its imprisoned Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s unconditional release and her proper medical treatment.
“Our party will stage rally on Friday in the capital demanding party chief Khaleda Zia’s proper treatment and immediate release from jail. We have received verbal permission from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) to organise the rally. The written permission may be given soon,” said BNP Senior Joint-Secretary General Rizvi.

party’s countrywide programmme demanding release of all political prisoners, including Khaleda Zia.
BNP Assistant Office Secretary Belal Ahmed said that the rally would be held in front of the party’s central office at Nayapaltan around 3:00pm.
The rally would be held in all the metropolitan cities, district and upazila headquarters across the country.
