The BNP will distribute leaflets nationwide on Thursday as parts of its fresh programme.
BNP Senior Joint-Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced it on Tuesday in a press briefing at its Nayapaltan office.
“The government has devised a blueprint to remain in power for long. As part of their conspiracy, they have sent BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia into jail by preparing false papers,” Rizvi said.
He urged the people to fight hard and to remain united in order to oust the government in the greater interest of our country.
Rizvi said that the leaders and activists would distribute the leaflets.
After Khaleda Zia was sentenced to five years in jail by a Dhaka special court on February 8, BNP announced series of programmes in phases including countrywide demonstrations, human chain, sit-in, token hunger strike, mass signature campaign and protest rallies for her release.
The last programme was countrywide protest demonstration on Monday.
