Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif on Monday said BNP is spreading falsehood over the Khulna City Corporation (KCC) polls as the party has become politically bankrupt.
“BNP is now making nonsense over Khulna City Corporation polls as it has become politically bankrupt,” he said while exchanging views with party leaders and workers at his PTI road residence in Kushtia.
Hanif said people of the country do not want to see BNP in power again because of their corruption and wrongdoings.
“People want to cast their votes in favour of Awami League candidate Talukder Abdul Khaleque for the sake of country’s development,” he added.
