UNB, Dhaka :Airing an apprehension that there can be a plot to foil their sixth national council, BNP senior leaders on Fridaywarned that they will strongly resist if any such move is taken.Talking to reporters while visiting the council venue at the Institution of Engineer, Bangladesh (IEB), they also said they will use the latest technology for ensuring the security of their programme.On Wednesday night, the party got permission from the IEB authorities to hold its council on March 19 at the venue.”We’ll resist if the government or anyone else tries to obstruct our council. We’re collecting preliminary reports of the intelligence agencies whether there is any plot to foil our programme,” said BNP standing committee member ASM Hannan Shah.He said, there will be many mobile security teams of the party in and around the council venue who will allow the guests having invitation cards to enter the venue.
