The BNP is sending a group of delegate on Friday to observe the situations of Brahmanbaria where the Hindus become victims of attacks.
BNP Vice-Chairman Major (rtd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed will lead the team.
The other members of delegates are: Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon, Goutam Chakraborti, Barrister Rumin Farhana and Advocate Fahima Munni.
Goutam Chakroborti told to the journalists that they will go to Nasirnagar of Brahmanbaria to visit the situation. They will make a report about their
findings and will submit that to the party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
Local people and police said, miscreants from elsewhere came to the Nasirnagar upazila town to join protests for demanding punishment for Hindu youth Rasaraj Das, 27, of village Harinber under the upazila for allegedly sharing a doctored photo setting an idol on the Kaaba on his Facebook wall on Friday. People mostly from Qoumi Group armed with sticks and sharp weapons carried out the attacks on Hindus.
