Khaleda needs treatment: BNP seeks schedule to meet Home Minister

Senior leaders of the BNP have requested Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal for an appointment to meet him on September 9 in order to apprise him of the deteriorating health condition of the party’s Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, now serving a sentence.
The leaders want to explain the minister in details about the urgent necessity of admitting the party chief in any specialized hospital soon. 
BNP Chairperson’s Personal Secretary 
ABM Sattar on September 6, sent a letter to the Home Ministry seeking the home minister’s appointment.
BNP Chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told it to The New Nation. 
He said that a 10-member delegation led by the party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir want to meet the Home Minister on the day.
The BNP chief has been staying at the old Dhaka central jail in the capital since February 8 this year in a graft case.
