Communication Minister Obaidul Kader said, BNP said repeatedly running Governments is illegal and the Election Commission (EC) is without backbone. Now, they (BNP) are participating in the Upazila polls under the illegal governments and EC.
However, it proves that BNP recognizes current government.
He was speaking as a chief guest in a meeting with Awami League (AL) activities at the Hilltop Circuit House in Cox’s Bazar municipally of the district at about 11:00am on Sunday. The minister said again, it is not equal to win in election and without competition. AL has vanished in government over last five years. In this reason, AL lost his own party speed. He urged all leaders and activities to working designed to be AL create a strong organization. Because, we need insure to win our party candidate in upazila polls by determine single candidate, he added.
AL Cox’s Bazar district President Adv A K Ahmed hossen chaired the dialogue meeting. Among, Saymom Sarwar Kamol MP, Ashek Ullah Rafiq MP, Hazi Mohammed Elius MP, Secretary of Dist AL Shalah Uddin Ahmed CIP, DC Cox’s Bazar Md Ruhul Amin, SP Cox’s Bazar Azad Miah and another leader of the AL and joint organization and official of district administration were present in the meeting.
Communication Minister Obaidul Kader came in Cox’s Bazar on Saturday and visited Marine Drive road in Chepotkhali, Choankhali, Mohammed Shafir Bil, Ruppaty, Emamerdail, Patuartek and Inani area. Among, Major General Abdul Kader, chief of Army Engineering core, Army 65 division Brigadier General Mainuddin, 17 ECB Engineering core Chief Brig Gen Abdul Oahab, 17 ECB commander Lt Col SM Anowar Hossen, DC Ruhul Amin, SP Azaad Miah and UNO Ukhiya Md Saiful Islam were present.
