The BNP is taken by conflicting decision as to whether it will take part in the Bogura-6 Constituency by-polls or not. The polls will be held on June 24
The Election Commission has announced that the necessity of holding the by polls became evident as the seat’s elected MP Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the BNP Secretary General, did not take oath within the scheduled date.
BNP insiders said the party high-command is in a fix whether to take part in the election or to boycott it.
