Staff Reporter :
Spokesperson of Awami League-led 14-Party Alliance Mohammad Nasim has said that the incident of Salahuddin Ahmed, once again, proved that Bangladesh Nationalist Party [BNP] made ‘falsehood’ over the issue all the way.
“The news of Salahuddin’s telephonic discussion with his wife proves that
BNP was lying all through,” Nasim, also presidium member of ruling Awami League, said after a meeting at the Dhanmandi political office of Awami League president Sheikh Hasina.
He said “Begum Zia had said that Salahuddin was in the custody of RAB. Now his wife is saying he is in Meghalaya. They were claiming he was abducted. But now it is proved that he had gone somewhere on his own volition.”
“BNP is used to lying. The party had wanted to mislead the people by saying Salahuddin had been abducted. But after the news in the media it is proved that BNP was lying. But the people would not be misled by such falsehood,” he further said.
