Pabna Correspondent : A BNP leader was shot dead by miscreants at Foialjana union under Chatmohar upazila in the district on Wednesday midnight. The deceased was identified as Faruk Hossain (35), general secretary of no-2 ward of Foialjana union unit of BNP and a union parishad member. He was also the son of Khalil Master of Nengri village. Officer-in-Charge of Chatmohar Police Station Subrata Kumar Sarkar said miscreants shot him from the window at around 2.00am while he was sleeping at his residence. Immediately he was taken to Pabna Medical College Hospital. Later, he was referred to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, but he died on way to Rajshahi.
