BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed has been admitted to Medanta Hospital in India with Kidney complications and pain in the spinal cord.
He was admitted to the hospital in Haryana around 10:00am on Friday (March 11), said BNP chairperson’s press wing officer Shairul Kabir Khan. Earlier, Salahuddin had reached Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi around 4:00pm on Thursday (March 10).
According to advice of doctors, the BNP leader
decided to take treatment at Medanta Hospital in Haryana as he has been suffering from Kidney complications and pain in the spinal cord.
Later, the Shillong magistrate court gave him permission to visit Delhi in reply to a petition showing his health ground. Salahuddin Ahmed, who had surfaced in Shillong on May 11 last year, was reportedly abducted in Dhaka on March 10 from hideouts during anti-government movement.
