Vice President of North district BNP of Chittagong Nazimuddin has been expelled from the party for breaking party discipline and anti-party role within the party.
This was disclosed in statement signed by Joint Secretary General of BNP Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on sunday , Chittgong BNP sources said.
Mentionable that Vice President Nazimuddin is contesting the upazila chairman election from Hathazari Upazila in Chittagong defying the party decision as a rival candidate whereas the central committee of the party nominated Mahbubul Alam Chowdhury as UZ chairman candidate for Hathazari, The coordinator of the party nominations in upazila election, central vice chairman of BNP and former Minister Abdullah al Noman has been empowered to select the suitable candidates in north district upazilas of Chittagong.
