Detectives arrested BNP leader Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu from his residence in the city’s Gulshan area on Wednesday.
A team of Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested him around 11 am in a case filed with Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, said Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media) of DMP.
He was wanted in a case, he added.
Dulu was taken to DB’s Mintoo Road office, he added.
